However, it is currently the closest it’s ever been at 100 seconds to midnight. Many reasons for the changes stem from global agreements regarding nuclear arms and the growing number of climate change disasters. The board formed by scientists and comprised of 13 Nobel laureates urges the public to heed this warning and take action before it’s too late.
